The Story Behind the Lens

I’ve always been a collector of stories; sometimes I capture them with a keyboard, and sometimes with a camera.

For a long time, I treated my writing and my photography as two separate paths. But lately, I’ve realized they’re actually the same journey. Whether I’m trekking through the misty soul of the New Jersey Pine Barrens at sunrise or exploring a new corner of the map, I’m looking for the narrative beneath the surface.

With a Master’s in Writing and my novel, Bulletproof Heart, under my belt, my foundation is in the written word. But you’ll usually find me behind the lens, documenting the quiet, wild beauty of the Pines and beyond. While my heart is currently rooted in the atmosphere of the local bogs and cedar forests, I’m always ready to follow a good story wherever it leads outside the treeline.
